Our audit team are now in the final year of the three-year audit cycle, ensuring that all OVs present at the start of this second generation contract receive a field audit by the end of August 2024. This means our team will be contacting practices with OVs who still need an audit to work with you so that those TB testers can carry on delivering testing under the VDP contracts. We are also making sure ATTs are audited to their own deadlines, set by the date they receive full ATT status or renew this qualification. Where testers do not facilitate an audit in that period APHA will suspend their TB testing authorisation so please do help us to make sure all audit requirements are fulfilled. Where there are issues with identifying a suitable test, we can see multiple TB testers on one test or can organise an audit event in an area if a suitable test and facilities can be found.
