As part of Farmcare’s efforts to support practice manpower provision, the Farmcare VDP businesses have funded a national communications campaign which aims to highlight the role of the ATT in practice. We have been seeking contact with any interested parties and putting them in touch with local practices who may be able to help support their training and qualification.

At the time of writing, just under 100 ATTs are qualified or are in training and it is hoped that, even in areas with less frequent TB testing, some of these people will be able to support several practices in their area in times when manpower is strained. If you know of any individuals who may be interested in up-skilling to do some testing, then please feel free to get in touch with colleagues at UK Farmcare and we will do what we can to provide further information and to help out.
